Dundy County School Board Accepts Superintendent’s Resignation

The Dundy County Stratton School Board met in special session this evening (Wednesday). The board accepted the resignation of Superintendent Jim Kent effective June 30, 2020 and authorized Board President Brad Baney to execute the separation agreement and thanked Kent for his 31 years of service to the district. Specifics about the separation agreement was not made public.

The board  heard proposals from Superintendent search agencies about the upcoming superintendent search. The board hired the Nebraska Association of School Boards Search firm to help with the recruitment of a new Superintendent.
