Dundy County Hospital to Offer Drive Thru Flu Shots

     As the influenza season is approaching and novel coronavirus pandemic continues, public health authorities stress that it’s more important than ever for people to get their flu shot. Although influenzas vary from year to year, vaccination clearly shows a reduction in flu severity and prevents hospitalizations, critical considerations at a time when the health care system is burdened by coronavirus disease.

     The Dundy County Hospital Quality Health Care Clinic is offering a new service for people wanting to get flu shots this year. QHC is offering drive through Flu Shot Clinic’s in the first few weeks in October. Walks-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. Call 423-2151 to schedule a time on the dates listed: Benkelman-under the awning, Wednesday, Ooctober 7, 3 to 6pm (MT), Saturday, October 10, 9 to 11:30am (MT), Thursday, Ocotber 14, 3 to 6pm (MT). Stratton-Grandview, Tuesday, October 20 from 2:30 – 4:30 pm (CT). Haigler – Golden Inn, Wednesday, October 21 from 1:30 – 3:30pm (MT).
