Guidelines for Spectators at Second Round Playoff game for DCS at Nebraska City Lourdes

Lourdes Central Catholic Home Outdoor Event Regulations for Class D1 Second Round Football game with Dundy County Stratton.
 
The game will be played at the Nebraska City Public School’s
Pioneer Field.
 
It is the goal of Lourdes Central Catholic to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all involved.
 
1. Parking
a. Visiting fans should park in the south lot
b. Home fans should park in the north lot
 
2. Entrance
a. Gate will not open until 4:00 pm
b. Personnel working admissions will wear face covering/mask
c. All attending the football game should conduct a symptom check prior to traveling to Pioneer Field
d. Visiting fans will enter Pioneer Field through the South Entrance
e. Home fans will enter Pioneer Field through the North Entrance
 
3. Spectators
a. Due to seating capacity, visiting spectator capacity will be 300 people. Once/if this limit is hit, spectators
will unfortunately be turned away.
b. Due to seating capacity, home spectator (and unattached spectators) capacity will be 750 people.
Once/if this limit is hit, spectators will unfortunately be turned away.
c. Masks are required upon entry to Pioneer field and are required until fans can socially distance from
other family groups.
d. Visiting fans will sit on the west side of Pioneer Field in the visitors section of bleachers.
e. Home (and unattached) fans will sit on the east side of Pioneer Field in the main bleachers under the
press box.
i. Home fans are welcome to bring blankets and sit on the hill to the north of the bleachers in an
attempt to social distance further
ii. Knights Student Section will be on the north end of the home side bleachers
f. Must sit with their family group
i. All students/children 8th grade and younger, must sit with their family group
g. Student section is for 9th-12th grades only and are required to wear masks
h. After the conclusion of the contest, all spectators will need to leave through the exit they came in
i. Please do not gather in the parking lot before or after the contest
 
4. Concessions
a. Prepackaged items only: Candy, Pop, Chips, etc.
b. Personnel working concessions will wear masks
c. Visiting fans will use the small concession stand on the visiting side of the stadium
d. Home fans will use the main concession stand on the home side of the stadium
 
5. Restrooms
a. Visiting fans will use the portable facilities located on the visiting side of the stadium
b. Home fans will use the restrooms on the home side of the stadium
c. Handicap restrooms are available on the home side of the stadium
 
6. Locker Rooms
a. Locker Rooms will only be provided for teams/players upon request. We would prefer teams come
dressed if possible.
b. Restroom facilities will be available for athletes, coaches, managers.
 
7. Player Sidelines/warm-ups
a. Visiting team will use the west sideline (opposite of the press box)
b. Lourdes Central Catholic will use the east sideline (same side as the press box)
c. Visiting team will warm up on the South side of the field
d. Lourdes Central Catholic will warm up on the North side of the field
 
8. Player Equipment
a. Both home and away athletes are required to have their own water bottle.
b. Game balls will be sanitized regularly during the game.
9. Cheerleaders
a. Only home cheerleaders are allowed and are limited to 12 per contest
b. Must maintain 6 feet of social distancing between cheerleaders
 
10. Other
a. Pre and post-game handshakes are prohibited
b. Only one player representative from each team will be present at the coin toss
c. No pep bands will be allowed
d. Anthem will be played electronically @ 7 minutes on the clock prior to kickoff
i. Followed by starting lineup for visiting team
ii. Followed by starting lineup for home team
e. No raffles or fundraisers
f. Officials will need to have their own water bottles
