Lady Falcon Volleyball Gets Another Win
The Hitchcock County Lady Falcon volleyball team finished the 2022 RPAC Volleyball Tournament with a win in the consolation match on the west division side of the competition. The Lady Falcons defeated the Maxwell Wildcats in three sets in Hayes Center on Monday afternoon. Hitchcock County came out slow in the first set and fell behind by double digits to the fired up Maxwell squad. The Lady Wildcats took the set 11 to 25. The Lady Falcons went to their locker room and regrouped before the start of the second set and it worked. The girls led the set from start to finish, but had to hold on at the end to win set 2, 25 to 23, and even the match. The final set was close again, but the Lady Falcons finished strong to win 25 to 21 and get their second straight win. The Lady Falcons record stands at 8 wins and 21 losses. The girls next match will come in the Class D2-9 Subdistrict which will be played on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
