The Dundy County Wrestling Meet ended Friday afternoon with eight pins for the Dundy County Team and a second place finish. The Wauneta-Palisade boys finished first and had 14 pins. Dundy County freshman Tagen Yrkowski received his first high school first place medal at the event. Diego Alvarez, Jacob Fanning Laken Wissink and Josh Fanning all brought home silver medals, Austin Cole and Aiden Kane third place and DJ Stamm and Klinton Rinne rounded the day out with fourth place medals. Of other Dundy County readers interest, Kreyton Wiese of Wauneta-Palisade (son of Shad and Nicole Wiese and grandson of Paul and Shelly Rooney and Brad Wiese) brought home the gold in his weight bracket.
