Jacquline M.(Kruser) Hiatt August 6, 1951 ~ March 31, 2026

Jacki was the beloved mother of five children including Cherie (Cherish) Hiatt-Lewis of Trenton, the grandmother of 12 including Christopher (Cheyenne) Lewis and the late Anthony Ian Lewis of McCook, and the great grandmother of 13 including Aicha Lewis of McCook.  She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dennis E. Hiatt of Longmont, Colorado.  Affectionately known as “Grammy’, she also had a very special nickname from her grandson Christopher (Dozer) Lewis. His whole life, he knew her as “Joy Joy” because from when he was a baby, Jacki would sing, l”ve Got The Joy Joy Joy Joy Down In My Heart…” to him.  Jacki loved life and her family very much. She and Dennis shared a tremendous work ethic which led them to own and operate several successful businesses together. Those included American Ambulance Service in Omaha, Trend Setter Fashions in Loveland, Colorado, and a Super 8 Motel near Longmont. For the last 18 years of her life, Jacki worked for Starbucks/King Soopers in Longmont.  As per her wishes, cremation was chosen and there will be no public service. The family will gather for a private Celebration of Life in the near future.
