06/09/2026 Meeting Minutes
Location: Jury Room, Dundy County Courthouse Benkelman, Nebraska Meeting called to order by Chairman Tim Yrkoski at 7:07 pm. Tim acknowledges Open Meetings Act on wall. Required ten-day notice in Scoop Media (Benkelman Post) was given. Roll call Present: Tim Yrkoski, Monte Nordhausen, Ted Harford, Spencer Parker, Shane Bradney & Pam Reichert, Zoning Administrator. Absent: none. Others present: Sye Tecker. Motion by Spencer to approve agenda, 2nd by Shane. Vote to approve the agenda was unanimous. Motion carried. Approval of meeting minutes from May 6, 2026. Motion made by Spencer, 2nd by Shane. Vote to approve the minutes was unanimous. Old Business: Zoning regulation rewrite. Much discussion and no formal recommendations are made. Pam updates board that recommendation for extending Moratorium for Conditional Use Permits was on agenda last commissioner meeting, but due to wordage on Agenda, County Attorney Wine recommended it be tabled and be put on Commissioner Agenda more specifically. Recommendation has again been put on Board of Commissioners for extension of moratorium for June 15, 2026 meeting. Board members also request zoning administrator to get more information needed for regulation re-write from Keith Marvin, zoning consultant. Pam had sent preliminary revisions to Keith for review and feedback. Keith Marvin is going to additional information needed for regulation rewrite. Next meeting is set for July 14, 2026, at 7pm MT in Jury Room at the Dundy County Courthouse. Motion by Shane to adjourn, 2nd by Spencer. Vote to adjourn was unanimous. Motion carried.
